Luc铆a Meza Guzm谩n is the Fuerza y Coraz贸n por M茅xico (Strength and Heart for Mexico) candidate for the governorship of Morelos. Born in Cuautla, Morelos in 1975, she holds a degree in public administration from Universidad Latinoamericana.  

Though Meza鈥檚 current political affiliation is with the , her originally began with the in 1988. From 1998 until 2000, she was Coordinator of Social Development for Cuautla and from 2003 until 2006, she served as a member of Cuautla鈥檚 city council. She was elected local deputy with the PRD in 2006 and reelected in 2012. In 2015, she was elected federal deputy with the PRD, but changed her party affiliation in 2017 to Morena, citing ideological differences. She was elected federal senator in 2018, representing Morena. Meza sought Morena鈥檚 nomination as candidate for the governorship of Morelos, but ultimately did not receive it. She subsequently from the party and joined the PRI, eventually securing the nomination for the Fuerza y Coraz贸n por M茅xico coalition, which in Morelos includes the , the , the , and Redes Sociales Progresistas de Morelos.
