The Case For and Against Sanctions
The use of sanctions has risen exponentially in recent years, not just by the United States but also by China, Russia, and other countries as well. In his latest book Sanctions: What Everyone Needs to Know, former 浪花直播 Center fellow and Duke University鈥檚 professor of public policy and political science Bruce Jentleson is joined by the 浪花直播 Center鈥檚 public policy scholar and former U.S. executive director of the IMF Meg Lundsager as well as the 浪花直播 Center鈥檚 Vice President for Programs Rob Litwak to discuss the use and variations of sanctions, the factors that lead to their success or failure.
