House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Royce on the hearing: 鈥淟ast October, the president outlined a path to address the Iran nuclear agreement鈥檚 serious flaws. Today, U.S. diplomats are working closely with our European allies on an agreement to increase sanctions on Iran鈥檚 ballistic missile program, strengthen nuclear inspections and fix the deal鈥檚 sunset problem. This hearing will examine the administration鈥檚 diplomatic push 鈥 as well as Iran鈥檚 very threatening behavior in the region and beyond 鈥 ahead of the May 12 certification deadline.鈥
