New Administrations and the U.S.-R.O.K. Alliance: Challenges and Way Forward

China鈥檚 rise, North Korea鈥檚 nuclear ambition, Japan鈥檚 quest to become a normal state, contending regional economic arrangements, and domestic political changes in the US and the ROK have profoundly affected regional dynamics as well as the nature of the U.S.-R.O.K. alliance. Amidst these transformations, the East Asia Foundation (Seoul) and the Woodrow 浪花直播 International Center for Scholars announce the 5th annual US-ROK Dialogue, where opinion leaders from Korea and the United States will discuss their concerns for the future and seek ways to enhance mutual understanding and to strengthen coordination and cooperation. Join us for this timely re-examination of the evolving nature of the bilateral alliance in the age of regional volatility and uncertainty.
