Ariel Moutsatsos-Morales is a journalist, communicator, and international affairs specialist, based in DC. He is the U. S. Bureau Chief and Senior Correspondent of Televisa N+ network and digital media platform. Also a contributor for W Radio and frequent commentator for various media outlets. Moutsatsos lectures on Journalism and International Affairs at Monterrey鈥檚 Institute of Technology, since 2005 and he is a well-known speaker and moderator in different national and international fora.

As a diplomat, he was Minister for Public and Special Affairs at the embassies of Mexico in the United Kingdom and in the United States. He also served as Senior Special Adviser to the Attorney-General of Mexico. As a journalist, he was Senior International Correspondent in New York, Europe and the Middle East, for Detr谩s de la Noticia, a leading Mexican radio and TV newscast. Then became Foreign Editor of Reforma newspaper. He is the only Mexican reporter who covered live the 9/11 attacks from New York and the 3/11 attacks from Madrid. Moutsatsos served in the Club of Madrid and was the founding CEO of a strategic consulting firm.

His commentaries and articles have been featured on CNN, CNN en espa帽ol, BBC, Univision, Telemundo, Reforma, The Huff Post, NTN24, TVC, W radio, Radio F贸rmula, Imagen, Noticias MVS, El Universal, El Financiero Bloomberg TV, UNO TV and Exc茅lsior among others.

He is a member of Chatham House, the Mexican Council of International Affairs (Comexi), the White House Correspondents Association, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the Foreign Press Correspondents Association.

Ariel holds a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Communications from the Monterrey Institute of Technology, and a Master鈥檚 degree on International Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid. He has done other studies at the London School of Economics, Universit茅 de la Sorbonne Paris IV, the CIDE and at some justice and law enforcement agencies in the U. S.

His areas of expertise include international politics, the US-Mexico relation, journalism, media, strategic communications, crisis, public relations, public sentiment, Hispanics, as well as soft power, foreign affairs and security.
