Expert Bio

Evan Carpenter studied anthropology at Brigham Young University, where he began experimenting with ethnographic filmmaking. He went on to become a documentary film editor and worked on many movies and TV shows including the Academy Award-nominated short film 鈥淲hite Earth,鈥� 鈥淚ron Cowboy鈥� (Netflix, Amazon), 鈥淭he Piece Maker鈥� (Discovery), and the upcoming historical drama 鈥淭amerlane.鈥� 鈥淎rtifact War鈥� is his first time directing a feature-length documentary.
