The Woodrow ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ International Center for Scholars is the living, national memorial to President ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ established by Congress in 1968 and headquartered in Washington, D.C. It is a nonpartisan institution, supported by public and private funds, engaged in the study of national and world affairs. ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ establishes and maintains a neutral forum for free, open and informed dialogue. The Center commemorates the ideals and concerns of Woodrow ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ by providing a link between the world of ideas and the world of policy. ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ fosters research, study, discussion, and collaboration among a broad spectrum of individuals concerned with policy and scholarship in national and world affairs.
About the Office of Congressional Relations
ÀË»¨Ö±²¥â€™s office of Congressional Relations works to maintain a vibrant relationship with Members of Congress and their staffs. Congressional Relations also operates the Foreign Policy Fellowship Program for Congressional Staff.
About ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ Center Internships
In general, internships in Congressional Relations occupy the space of an academic semester (i.e., for Fall, Spring, and Summer internships of approximately three to four months); however, appointments can be made throughout the year for periods of varying length. No internship will exceed one year in duration. Applicants should be willing to devote at least 15 hours per week, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
These internships are designed to provide the selected individuals with the opportunity to gain practical experience in an environment that combines academic study and public policy.

Congressional Relations
ÀË»¨Ö±²¥â€™s office of Congressional Relations works to maintain a vibrant relationship with Members of Congress and their staffs. We organize and run a series of educational programs led by ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ Center experts, ranging from seminars to private briefings, with the purpose of increasing congressional staffers’ knowledge of foreign policy. We also coordinate outreach to Capitol Hill, including testimonies by ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ Center scholars and briefings specifically for Members of Congress. Read more
