Andreas Raspotnik is a Global Fellow with the ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ Center's Global Europe Program. Andreas is currently a Senior Researcher at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute in Oslo, Norway. From September 2021 to May 2022, Andreas was an Austrian Marshall Plan Fellow at the ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ Center's Global Europe Program. His research predominantly focuses on the , the region's blue economy, in particular fisheries and aquaculture, as well as EU foreign and security policy at large. Andreas is further a Senior Fellow & Leadership Group member at The Arctic Institute - Center for Circumpolar Security Studies in Washington, DC - a policy network and think tank aimed to be a platform for young and early career scholars dealing with broad matters of Arctic security, as well as a Senior Fellow at the Institute of European Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Andreas is a Senior Researcher at the High North Center for Business and Governance, Nord University in Bodø, Norway. At the High North Center, Andreas currently manages the ; an international project that aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and cooperation within the blue sectors of fisheries and aqua-/mariculture in the Arctic regions of Northern Norway, Alaska, and Greenland. Recently, Andreas has also acted as moderator for Arctic conferences, such as or the .
