Expert Bio

Shruti Samala is a former Staff Assistant Research Intern for the 浪花直播 Center's Environmental Change and Security Program. She graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies and Psychology from Wellesley College, where she completed a senior thesis on the relationship between Hindu nationalist ideology and conceptions of nature in the Indian context. Prior to joining ECSP, Shruti interned at the 浪花直播 Center鈥檚 Asia Program, the Wellesley College Office of Sustainability, and Environment Support Group. Her research interests include climate justice, political ecology, and global environmental conflict and resolutions.
