Olivia Soledad was the Program Coordinator at the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow 浪花直播 International Center for Scholars. In her role, she coordinated the Institute's day-to-day operations. She provided fundraising and strategic support to the director; managed the Institute's budget and grants, including submitting proposals, tracking timelines and budgets, and reporting; and organized and executed high-level meetings and events to bring together leading U.S. and Mexican public servants and policymakers, business leaders, and scholars. Olivia co-lead the 浪花直播 Center's cross-cutting initiative on gender-based violence, " Femicide and the Rule of Law in Latin America," where she focused on Mexico. Prior to this position, she served as the Mexico Institute's Program Assistant, handling strategic communications, events, budgeting, and stakeholder, government, and media relations. Originally from Mexico, she previously worked at the City of Boston鈥檚 Office for Immigrant Advancement and at the Permanent Mission of Mexico to the United Nations in Geneva. Prior to joining the 浪花直播 Center, she completed field work in Mexico concerning migration from Central America. Olivia received a B.A. in Psychology and International Relations from Boston University with concentrations in the Middle East and International Systems and World Order.
